Introduction to Metaphysics is an inspired work by Stefan Tsirikos, explaining the reasons, mechanisms and purpose of creation. It is an introduction to a Cosmos-theory, which uses man as the object of analysis and reference. The underlying message focuses on the liberation of man from the oppressive bonds of fear. Coherent suggestions and ideas are provided to improve the human condition through the appropriate use of free will and personal life experience. The series consists of five books. Together the books present a coordinated effort to formulate a cognitive structure assisting the reader in understanding the abstract world of Metaphysics. In Book One, Creation is described from the perspective of Energy as its fundamental structural medium. The ensuing four books examine ‘all that exists’ from the perspective of Matter, Emotion, Consciousness and Spirit.

The first book under the title “Who or What am I?” and subtitle “Energy as Universal Construction Medium”, introduces the conceptual foundation of the entire series. Rationalism and Scientific Methodology are examined along with the necessity for the prevalence of liberal thought and consequent avoidance of dogma. It defines and explains the meaning of Metaphysics. A theoretical description of Energy is presented using the electromagnetic spectrum as a reference tool to orient the reader. Further, the limits of reality as detected by our senses and formulated by our perceptions, which are the result of complex cognitive processes, are explored. The model of the Four Existential Bodies and its importance in understanding all physical and metaphysical phenomena that enrich the life experience are explained; followed by the model of the Four Reality Perspectives, conscious selection of which leads to a response with respect to the question of “Who am I?” Finally, the author examines the notion of extraterrestrials.
